I offer bespoke, but competitively priced framing from my workshop. Choose from a small selection of popular frames; featuring contemporary black and white painted finishes, to water-gilded gold and silver leaf, and stained wood profiles. Each wood (known as a ‘moulding’) is of simple and tested design, and well suited to black and white photography. The wood is sourced responsibly, certified by the Forest Stewardship Council wherever possible, and finished by hand.
Frame consultation takes place at the same time as the viewing and print ordering session. Once you have made your selection of images, we look at where you might like to have them presented, and then talk about the style of frame that would best suit the photographs and your home. Each design is bespoke and created to conservation grade standards. Only the finest materials are used: from mount board that exceeds levels set by the Fine Art Trade Guild, to the ‘WaterWhite’ anti-reflective museum glass that protects your photographs. Each picture frame and leather album is created without compromise, and designed as a lasting family heirloom. |
